First-party signals (1P signals)
First-party signals (1P signals) are a type of first-party data (1PD) collected from users when they visit a website. At its core, first-party signal collection is the process of uncovering anonymous website visitors and their page and product usage intent. The purpose of this is to collect the purchase intent and hyper-target warm leads. Unlike most of the first-party data collection, 1P signals are mostly collected without the userโs direct involvement.
